In collaboration with content writers and a multimedia designer, I created the storyboard and line illustrations for an animated short. This video tells the story of a Malian, a man who became a refugee and came to the U.S. to start a new life.
I decided to use a series of single-line illustrations to tell the story in video form. I started with hand drawn sketches marking key points in the story. Then I turned them into vector line illustrations in Adobe Illustrator.
The multimedia designer animated my line illustrations and assembled the video with Malian's voiceover. You can see the final piece at the bottom of the page.
